Reserve Chicks - Brahmas
All Brahma chicks are sold as 1 day-1 week old, unsexed, $8 each. Payment due at pickup. We follow the buddy system for all chicks, therefore there is a required minimum of 2 chicks per order.
Brahma Chickens are known to be a great family chicken, with a docile temperament making them easy to handle. They are a larger chicken, with feathered feet and heavy plumage for better cold climate tolerance. Brahmas are considered a dual purpose breed, as they were originally bred in America for meat. They lay around 200 light brown medium to large eggs per year.
Our Brahma chicks are hatched here on the farm between February through July. Reserve yours now and you can come pick them out right from our brooders once they hatch.
Available Brahma colors:
Light Brahma (All white with black markings on the tail, neck and wings);
Mixes of Buff Brahma hens and Dark Brahma hens crossed with our Light Brahma Rooster are also available
Once our hatch schedule is out, we will contact you with an estimated date your chicks will be hatched. We do our best to hatch as many chicks as we can, but if we cannot fulfil your order we will notify you immediately.
For biosecurity reasons we are no longer accepting rooster returns, sorry for the inconvenience.
